Under the dual pressures of global climate change and intensified human activities, the sustainable management of land and water resources is facing unprecedented challenges. In response to these challenges, innovations in digital technology have emerged as a key driver for optimizing resource utilization. This session aims to bring together domestic and international experts to present and discuss the latest technological advancements, innovative methodologies, representative case studies, broad application prospects, and current bottlenecks in the fields of water and land management. By fostering in-depth exchanges, the session seeks to promote the integration and application of digital technologies in precision management, efficient utilization, monitoring, and evaluation of water and land resources. Ultimately, the goal is to establish a more efficient, intelligent, and sustainable management system for land and water resources, contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
