DBAR Conference

The 9th Digital Belt and Road Conference (DBAR 2025) is being held in Chengdu, China from 8 to 11 June 2025. It will be hosted by the Digital Belt and Road Program (DBAR) and Aerospace Information research Institute Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chengdu University of Technology. With the theme "Sustainable Transformation through Digital Sciences", DBAR 2025 will deliberate on pioneering pathways to accelerate global and regional sustainable development through innovative application of emerging digital technologies.

The conference marks the ten-year milestone of the Digital Belt and Road Science Program, offering an opportunity to reflect on our achievements and set ambitious goals for the post-2030 era as we near the deadline for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The DBAR 2025 program will facilitate rich exchanges focused on addressing research, capacity, and infrastructure challenges, particularly those faced by the developing world. It will also explore practical solutions to promote global collaboration, strengthen partnerships with host countries, and enhance resources for sustainable development. Through these discussions, DBAR 2025 will reinforce our shared commitment to fostering knowledge exchange, advancing regional prosperity, and ensuring that the benefits of our efforts extend globally.
